"All Featherweight snare drums are made from our proprietary aluminum shells, hoops, lugs and hardware, that's right ALL ALUMINUM with Remo Ambassador heads and a natural burnt orange patina!

"We hand cut, roll, weld, and sand our shells and hoops. Then we expedite the aging process with our proprietary patina method, we hand cut 45 degree bearing edges and snare beds then add 10 of our patented aluminum center-mounted lugs and hardware.

"These snares weigh ONLY 3.6 to 4.5 lbs.

"The Featherweight Snares are full body, very sensitive, and extremely dynamic drums, not loud by any means but they tune lower than their sizes and have a perfect balance between punch, warmth, and attack.  Like all of our drums, they are a sound engineer's dream, extremely microphone friendly."
