Vintage K. Zildjian New Stamp 20" Ride (1976g)
They don't make 'em like this anymore! With a rare combination of stick definition and a full crash, this 20" Old K works equally well as a ride or a crash. Made in Istanbul, Turkey, it sports a variation of the "New Stamp" which I believe dates it to the late '60s or early '70s. Note the double impression present on the bottom half of the stamp.
The condition is remarkable for a cymbal of this age. It has a bit of a "keyhole," but none of the cracks or fissures often found in Old Ks. The edge has some minor rough spots, but nothing rising to the level of a "fleabite" in my opinion. Expect cosmetic issues such as scratches, stains, oxidation, tape residue, and the like. And of course, a lovely patina!
Please note that the mounting hole is small by modern standards; the cymbal fits best on a 6mm threaded post. Actual diameter is around 19-3/4".
