Mapex Black Panther 4-5/8" x 14" Versatus Snare

This is the original version of the Russ Miller Signature Snare.  The shell is maple and mahogany, 4-5/8" (depth) x 14" (diameter), and just over 8mm thick.  The batter side features a reinforcement ring and rounded 45 degree bearing edge, while the resonant side has no ring and a rounded 35 degree edge.  The drum sports 20 offset lugs and the factory spec Remo Fiberskyn Diplomat top and Ambassador snare side heads and Puresound 16-strand wires.

Condition is very good.  Expect cosmetic signs of use, but the snare looks and sounds great.  Please note that the batter head exhibits some stick and brush marks and the minor pitting and delamination typical of the Fiberskyn model, but both heads should have plenty of life left in them.
