Gretsch 140th Anniversary Commemorative Snare Drum
In 1883, Friedrich Gretsch opened his small music shop in Brooklyn, NY, making drums, banjos, and tambourines. No one expected his business on Middleton Street to become one of the most respected drum companies in the world.
Now 140 years later, Gretsch Drums are among the most iconic in the history of music. To celebrate, Gretsch is excited to introduce the 140th Anniversary Commemorative Snare Drum.
This 7" (depth) x 14” (diameter) snare drum features our legendary 6-ply USA Custom Gretsch formula maple/gum shell featuring a special outer veneer of figured ash finished in a natural gloss lacquer. The snare is fitted with nickel-plated hardware and Micro Sensitive throw-off. This model also includes a custom snare bag and certificate of authenticity signed by Fred Gretsch and the factory artisans who built these drums.
Production of this collectible snare drum will be limited to 140 units.
