Vintage A. Zildjian 11" Cymbal (270g)

$ 149.00

Based on the "pre-transition" (also called "first" or "second") stamp, this cymbal likely dates back to the 1930s or 1940s.  Note that the Ottoman script is upside down relative to the English portion, confirming that Zildjian used two separate stamps in this era.

The actual diameter is right around 11".  The cymbal is drilled for eight rivets, possibly a factory job.  Likewise, the four rivets currently installed may be original; they look old regardless.

The condition is good, especially considering the cymbal's age.  The 3/8" center hole is fairly round.  The edge has some chipping and rough spots, but frankly nothing out of the ordinary for a cymbal this old.  Expect stick marks, fingerprints, scratches and stains, dirt, oxidation, discoloration, and other cosmetic issues common to vintage cymbals.

One of the photos shows that the stamp is clearly visible on the underside!  The paper thin weight means that the cymbal is usable in suspended form, even in modern music.
